Former GFRIEND Member, Yuju Has Announced His Official Fan Nickname

Former member of K-Pop girl group "GFRIEND" Yuju has finally announced a nickname for his fans!

After the girl group GFRIEND disbanded, Yuju is known to have successfully debuted as a solo singer under KONNECT Entertainment with his first album entitled "REC".

Until finally on March 27, Yuju's agency announced the name 'LUVU' as a fan nickname for one of their talented artists.

In addition to having a broad meaning as Yuju who always loves his fans, the agency added a detailed explanation regarding the choice of the fandom name.

“We replaced the 'Y' and 'J' in Yuju's name with 'L' and 'V' to make 'LUVU.' It means that Yuju and LUVU are parts of each other that make each other whole. Yuju's immortal part, LUVU, thanks for joining him at the start of his new chapter. Please continue to support him.”
